Clear Coat Paint

Product Description

An air drying, two component, transparent and clear epoxy coating, Clear Coat Paint is used for many applications.

Features of Clear Coat Paint:

• The clear coating can be applied to painted and unpainted surfaces for protection and decoration.
• Strong resistance to impact, abrasion, water and mild chemicals.
• Surface preparation & Substrate Condition:
• All types of contamination and rust must be removed from the surface, as well as loose scale, mill scale, oil, and loose scale. An ideal surface temperature is 3 degrees Celsius above dew point and not higher than 50 degrees Celsius.

Mixing:

• The base and hardener should be stirred separately first for homogenous mixing, and then the hardener should be slowly added to the base with constant stirring.
• Mixing ratio: Base: Hardener :: 4 :1(w/w)
• Induction time: 30 minutes
• Pot life at 30°C: 8 hours

Application of Clear Coat Paint:

• Using a brush
• Recommended thinner: Vib Thinner No. 8
• Volume of thinner: 0 - 10 %
• Application via air spray
• Recommended thinner: Vib Thinner No. 8.
• Volume of thinner: 5 - 20 %
• Nozzle orifice: 1.5 - 3.0 mm
• Nozzle pressure: 0.3 - 0.4 MPas
• Application via airless spray
• Recommended thinner: Vib Thinner No. 8
• Volume of thinner: 0 - 15 %
• Nozzle orifice: 0.41 - 0.48 mm
• Nozzle pressure: 20 - 24 Mpas
