Product Description
Zinc Chromate Primer is a compound which physically appears as a yellowish green colour solvent which is added with a pigment and number of additives. It is widely used in industrial painting as a protective coating over materials like iron or aluminium to act as a corrosion-resistant agent and ensures a longer service life to the machine and automotive components. Zinc Chromate Prime has a chemical formula of ZnCrO4 and a molar mass approximately equals to 181.403 grams per mol. It has a density of 3.43 grams per cubic centimetre and is insoluble in water.

Surface Preparation & Substrate Condition
- Surface must be free from oil, dirt, mill scale and all types of contamination etc.the standard of surface should be no less than St 3.
- Non-ferrous surface, sufficiently roughened with emery paper & dry and free from all contamination.
- Substrate temperature should be at least 3°C above dew point but not above 50°C.
Mixing
If settling is observed in the drum, loosen the settled material with the help of hand stirrer followed by power driven stirrer for quick homogenous mixing.
